Maybe I'm just very unlucky but I've tried weekdays and weekends right around the clock and every time the place has been dead. Last time there were three people online. IIRC the most I've ever seen is 15 - 9 of whom were idle. If that's a true reflection of the sort of traffic Twinity is drawing that's not just smaller that's minuscule.

I will check out Virtual Singapore. In actual life the most I've been there was been Changi Airport, but it looks potentially interesting. I've yet to have a look at Singapore. Our community is smaller, but growing, and admittedly, we haven't done much that would work on Australia time. We'll be doing more in the future, and if you want to meet more Twinizens, I'd recommend checking out some of our events centered around virtual Singapore in the next few months.

Regarding the AsiaOne / Singapore government advertising inferences in the post, I don't think that the hypothetical scenario painted here is realistic.

- jeremy from twinity @Laura and @skribe, I'm sorry that's been your experience in Twinity so far. I visited again recently and the only thing that has changed since my video review is that there were even fewer people around than there was in December. I concur. Having tried Twinity, and finding it a buggy system with a mostly absent population, I have to say "What were they thinking?" I find this rather bizarre.
